Data deletion
Last updated: 10 October 2026
Delete your account yourself
In the Newplans app: Settings → Privacy & data → Delete account. On the website: Settings → Profile → Delete my account.
Before you confirm, Newplans shows exactly what will be deleted and asks you to type your email address. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, sign-in sessions, devices, notifications and memberships, and any workspace in which you are the only member, with all of its content and files. For your security, the app asks you to sign in again if your sign-in is not recent.
If you own a workspace that has other members, hand it over to another owner first. Your comments and messages there stay with that workspace but are no longer linked to you.
Facebook and Instagram
Newplans does not currently connect to Facebook Pages or Instagram accounts, and does not receive any data from them. When we add this, this page will explain how to disconnect an account and remove its data.
If you believe Newplans holds information from your Facebook or Instagram account, write to support@newplans.xyz from the email address of your Newplans account and we will look into it and delete it.
If you can't sign in
Write to support@newplans.xyz and we will help you delete your account and data.
Backups
Database backups are encrypted and kept for up to 90 days, after which they are deleted. Deleted information can remain in these backups until they expire.
