This policy explains what newplans ("we", "us") collects when you use the app, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to newplans.xyz and the newplans product itself.
Information we collect
We collect the information you give us directly:
- Account details: name, email address, and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text).
- Workspace content: campaigns, events, projects, tasks, brand briefs, contacts, and any content you create or upload.
- Billing details: handled entirely by Stripe. We store your subscription status and plan, not your card number.
We also collect information automatically:
- Usage data such as pages visited and features used, to improve the product.
- If you connect Google Analytics, the metrics your own GA4 property already collects, displayed back to you inside your workspace.
How we use it
- To operate your workspace and the features you use inside it.
- To generate AI content, strategy, and images you request, via OpenAI and Google Gemini.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions, via Stripe.
- To send account-related messages, such as invite links and billing notices.
- To keep the product secure and prevent abuse.
Third-party processors
We share the minimum data necessary with the following processors to run the product:
- OpenAI and Google Gemini — process the prompts and brand context you submit to generate strategy, copy, and images.
- Stripe — processes payments and stores your payment method on our behalf. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Google Analytics (GA4) — if you connect an analytics property, we read metrics from it via Google's API using credentials you authorize.
- Our hosting and database providers — store your workspace data securely in transit and at rest.
We do not sell your data to anyone.
Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your active workspace. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Data retention
We keep your workspace data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your workspace, we remove your content within 30 days, except where we're required to retain records (e.g. billing history) for legal or accounting purposes.
Your rights
You can, at any time:
- Access or export the data in your workspace.
- Correct inaccurate account details from Settings.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Withdraw consent for analytics connections by disconnecting them in Settings.
Security
Passwords are hashed, data is encrypted in transit, and access to production data is restricted to what's needed to operate the service. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
